Come on, the Dow goes up 191 points on news that Citibank is taking a big 3rd quarter loss? The housing market nationally is still in the pits and Wall Street thinks the worst is over? I just completed our Realty Times market updates for October and it shows that the Tri-Valley has entered a buyers market for all cities in the Tri-Valley. However, I did see a really insightful opinion piece about the state of the housing market that again reminded me that though there are serious problems, a lot of it is based on group think. Check it out. I liked the message for buyers that it’s easy to hide your head in the sand and do nothing in these uncertain times, yet as the article jokes, NOBODY is going to ring the bell when it’s time to buy. It’s almost always a good time to buy, but this is a great time to buy. Ask me why.
